Last Local Open Track and Field Meeting?

On Saturday 14th Septmeber, Radley AC are hosting an open meeting at Tilsley Park stadium, near Abingdon. There are events for adults and children, including a Quadkids competition for the Under 11s and 9s, so a great introduction to an Athletics meeting. A last chance for some of our Teens to break / set Club records?

NB Please check the event age requirements, as some systems might let you enter children in events they are not allowed to compete in!!!

For the adult members there's a 3k (ever wondered what your 3k pace is - here's your chance to find out!) and a chance to do a 1500m.

I have competed at Tilsley Park a couple of times and it's a good venue, with a decent stands building with other facilities, e.g. gym, shop. I like it as it's where I set both my 200m and long jump PBs!

NB There's one other open meeting I know about, which is in Portsmouth on Sunday 22nd September, but it's not particualrly local!
