We're delighted you're interested in joining Cirencester Athletic and Triathlon Club. Membership gives you plenty of benefits:
1. There is an option to be "affiliated" to England Athletics or to remain unaffiliated.
Being affiliated gives you annual membership of EA, enabling you to run in races under the name of your club i.e. Cirencester AC. This also gives you a discount (usually £2) on your race entry price, as well as many other benefits. If you are unaffiliated, you can enter races independently of the club, but you may have problems entering some X country and certain road races, and your achievements would not be included in any club listings or reports. So if you do intend to enter races, it would be best to become an affiliated member.
2. Training sessions are set up and run by fully trained club coaches throughout the year, entailing hire of a running track for adults during the summer months, and a sports field and sports hall for juniors year round.
3. Use of showers at Cotswold Leisure Centre before and after training sessions throughout the year.
4. 10% discount at D&J Sports in Cirencester.
5. A committed team of volunteers running the club on your behalf on a day to day basis, including arranging races to help generate income for the club.
6. A Social Committee putting on various activities for all members.
7. A Communication Team, running a Facebook page, and seeking to ensure that your exploits are noted in the local press.
We work to ensure that we cater for runners of all abilities, fast, medium or improvers. The important thing is that everyone enjoys their running with us, in a friendly and supportive way.
As a club, we are affiliated to The Glos. AAA, The Midland Counties AAA, The British Triathlon Association, and of course England Athletics.

Membership runs from 1st April to 31st March each year.
Our current prices are:
Individual affiliated - £38 ( Age 12 and above inc seniors )
Individual non-affiliated - £21 ( Age 12 and above inc seniors )
Juniors - £21
Second claim - £10
All membership renewals must be paid by 30th June each year, those not renewed by that date will mean that they cease to be a club member and/or a member of EA. This is in line with EA rules and guidelines.
Invoices will be sent by email to all current club members during the month of April.
Please note whether you choose to be affiliated or unaffiliated, you will automatically become a member of England Athletics and have your own URN/Licence number.
Your club membership details are automatically passed on to EA.
Ongoing maintenance for all club members:
All athletes ( and parents of juniors and teens ) should check their personal details on the EA website. Check that you know your URN/Licence number and that your email address, in particular, is correct. You can do this by logging in at: www.englandathletics.org/myprofile (Please keep your profile upto date, e.g. on moving house or changing phone or email address.)
