"Sportshall" Round 2 Competition

Following fast on the heels of round 1 (and before the publication of the results!) the second round of Sportshall took place on Sunday 30th November at Archway School in Stroud.

This time competing were :

Under 11s : Florence Tanner and Ted Ralling

Under 13s : Aria Stavrakakis, Ellis Bowen, Katie Leicester

It's called "Hi Stepper" for a reason ; Ted and Florence showing high knees for this challenge

Florence (8) and Ted (10) competed in target throw (we had been practising that in the last two Wednesday training sessions) ; relay

Aria (12), Ellis (12) and Katie (13) did standing triple jump (a coordination challenge, but we have been practising this), Chest push throw with a 3kg med ball (we've practised that before as well - you can see that in the way Ellis's executes it),

Without moving his feet (not allowed) Ellis gets as much body force into the 3kg med ball as possible and at the right angle of release.
