Leigh Guilbert gains EA coaching qualification

I am pleased to inform you that we have another level 1 coach who has passed England Athletics' Coaching Assistant qualification : Leigh Guilbert.

Leigh's been in the fitness industry for 15 years as a Strength and Conditioning fitness coach, and in his own words, "I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of clients from Kona level triathletes, age group triathletes, ex Olympic gymnasts/sailors, movie prep, MND sufferers and everything in between." So I am pleased we have added his competence to our 'coaching ranks'.

Leigh is a Personal Trainer at "Apex Athletic" (link : https://www.apexathletic.co.uk ) and has the following relevant (to runners) qualifications / awards:

  • CYQ-Level 3 (Personal Trainer)

  • CrossFit Level 1 Trainer 2014-2016

  • CrossFit Mobility Trainer 2014-2016

  • Kettlebell Instructor

  • Suspension Trainer

  • Supple Strength Coach

  • AMAC Cert - Using Foam Rollers

  • AMAC Cert - Using Balls For Self-Massage

  • AMAC Cert - Stability Ball Training

  • UK's Most Loved Personal Trainer 2013

  • ND - Sport & Exercise Science

  • ITC - Emergency First Aid At Work

I am looking forward to attending one of Leigh's sessions (first Tuesday of the month) and hope you enjoy his sessions too.
