Back with a "Bleep"

First group training session since the beginning of lockdown was held at Deer Park, complete with Social Distancing.

Coaches Andy Gardner and Adrian Williams put the dozen runners, who volunteered to help test the Covid19 precautions, through their paces on Tuesday evening. A straight 300m "standard levelling" course enabled all the runners to compete at their own pace, with diminishing recovery.

Led by Adrian, this was the first "interval" type session for many since March, so the session started with Andy leading an increasing-in-intensity warm-up complete with mobility drills.

This was important as Adrian ended his part of the session with a three team non-contact relay race.

The cool down and stretching led by Andy enabled everyone's muscles to recover, hopefully in time for the next session.
