Christmas morning saw a handful of club members at fun, festive parkrun events. Perhaps they were hoping a quick 5K dash would allow them an extra roast potato and mince pie later on in the day.
Of note, Wendy Nicholls was 1st lady at Seven Fields, Ollie Campbell was 9th overall at Chippenham and Izzy Chudley flew the flag for Cirencester at the Curl Curl event in Australia.
There was a good club turnout at Tetbury where Rachel and Alan Mcadam definitely took the prize for best dressing up efforts and Nicola Wood was festooned in Christmas lights. Nea Sneddon-Jenkins was 2nd lady and Brian Harris and Rachel Barrow each managed a parkrun PB.

Tanya Everett found a fun, post Christmas race. She took on the 10k distance at the Gut Buster event near Reading. The cross-country route took in streams, fords and farmers fields. Tanya says she thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, including the whipping rain and bitter wind, and will be signing up for the 10 mile distance next year!
