…….is a new 10k PB. And that’s just what Nea Sneddon-Jenkins got when she ran the Westonbirt House Christmas 10k on Sunday. Nea was 5th lady overall in the race which is run on a mix of country roads and the beautiful Westonbirt House gardens. The route includes a tricky set of steps to deal with. Congratulations Nea.

David Wright and Keith Firkin were both in action on Saturday in the Maverick New Forest Trail event. Fine performances from both brought them 1st and 3rd places respectively in the MV60 age group.

Of note on the parkrun circuit this weekend, Ollie Campbell was just a few seconds outside his Coventry course PB to finish in 3rd place. Nea Sneddon-Jenkins started her weekend in good form at Tetbury where she was 1st lady. Holly Willis ran well at Poole and Eloisa Townsend was 3rd lady at the Sharpham Road event.
Ian Barrett took second place at Cirencester where the club was well represented by members running and volunteering.
Continuing his South African adventure, Luke Campbell enjoyed somewhat warmer conditions and finished in first place at the Ashburton event, over three minutes ahead of the second placed runner.
