XC : Under 11s course

The under 11s course is the shortest (~2km) and is a one lap race.

All races start and go past points ABC.

Point C to D:

The course descends from point C to the bottom of the valley coming out at point D.

It’s similar to the U13s course but differs in one big way. It does not go along the valley to point E but the runners turn right and then left up the other side of the valley running along the edge of the field before coming back through to the gate to point E.

Point D to X to E

The runners turn right and then left up the other side of the valley. They run along the edge of the field before coming back through to the gate to point E.

When get to brow of hill turn left...

Point X

Once the runners reach point E they (and all other races too) go up across the field existing through the open gate at point A. and turn right to the finish line.

Point E to A:

The course is soft in places with some muddy paths, which may be slippery, but runners can run on the grass alongside.
