We start the sessions again on Wednesday 7th September at the usual times : 6pm for Juniors and 6:30 for Teens group at Kingshill school playing field.
Natasha Pauck goes on "maternity leave"
We have had to say good-bye to Natasha Pauck from the Teens’ Group coaches. I would like to personally thank her for her contribution and wish her well for the future.
New 'coach' : Lara Tompson
I am pleased to announce that Lara Tompson will be helping with the Teens’ group from Wednesday.
What to expect in the sessions
Wednesday is the beginning of a new 8-week development cycle. The first two weeks will be an opportunity for the children to get back into the swing of things, before starting the programme to build fitness and strength. The plan is geared to enable them to be able to participate in the Gloucester Cross-Country races, first one on the 5th November in Cirencester Park.
During that 8-week plan, at the beginning of October, we will move part of the sessions into the sports hall. More information on what that means to the sessions will be posted here soon.
We will also be assessing which older children are ready to move up to the Teens group. This is with parental agreement, obviously.
Lastly, a reminder that this Saturday is the Cirencester Rotary Club’s Activius Day, which we will be supporting. The day is to raise funds to help all children have access to sports clubs and equipment, so please come along from 11am to support this worthwhile event. We will be having a fun three event competition, based around the activities what we do with the children each week. Details of the whole event can be found at https://m.facebook.com/groups/715195025903088

See you on Wednesday.
