Unfortunately, I am unable to make the title anymore catchy than to state that in accordance with England Athletic rules we require a second Club Welfare Officer to support Dr Lorna Harris who is already in post.
The post would suit anyone with an interest in safeguarding and welfare matters who is friendly and approachable with the ability to communicate well with adults and children.
This important role will ensure that members have a trained and trusted person to speak to about a concern either within the club or at times outside of Athletics. By completing the England Athletics online safeguarding and Time to Listen training we can be confident that we are compliant and that the incumbent has the right level of knowledge for the role that is specific to Athletics.
