Juniors and Teens sessions in May and June

I thought it would be useful to inform everybody about the sessions in May and June, especially when there aren't any.


There are the usual sessions every Wednesday in May, but in June there are two consecutive weeks where there are none:

  • 7th June

  • 14th June (date of Junior Summer Sizzler)


The programme is based around the development of key fundamental physical capability and movement technique for the children, with an additional focus over then ext few weeks of building aerobic fitness and stamina to enable the children to be able to run the Junior Summer Sizzler well (2km for Under 11s, 3km for Over 11s). Entries for this event are through Entry Central (link). I would encourage your children to participate.


After the Junior Summer Sizzler, the programme returns to the usual all-round athletic performance enablers : strength, speed and stamina in Running, Jumping and Throwing. I will post about July's and the school holiday sessions soon.
