Juniors and Teens at Pittville Park Cross-Country

We had a good turnout of Juniors and Teens at the 3rd Glos XC league match at Pittville Park, Cheltenham, on Saturday 18th, on an unseasonably warm and sunny day,

All our Under 11s were sporting the new Club vests in appropriate sizes!

Ten Under 11s participated in the first race of the day, with Rory Brown (far right) and Evie Mence (next to Rory) doing particularly. Rory especially is running well and still with another year in this age group, shows that he can be really competitive. There were good runs from some of the younger runners too, including Annabel, Aria and Viv all still only 9. Consequently, the Boys' team placed 8th and the Girls' teams 4th and 6th.

We had our usual U13 boys, except Ernie, who managed to break his hand playing rugby during the week (any excuse!):

Ben (99) renewed his battle with Joe (788) closely followed by Joe's twin, Robbie (789), making up our first team; and Seb (98) with Lucas (120) and Josh (129) bringing home the B-team.

In the Under 15's, we had just one runner, Archie Hatt (right), but he ran well, finishing 11th in 20:24 for the 4.8km course (just consider that XC time compared to a Parkrun).
