Juniors and Teens at Lydiard Parkrun

Friends Jess and Florence took it steady running together at the pace of "chat".

Hi all, on a bright but cold and windy Sunday morning half a dozen of our Juniors and Teens pitched up for the (2k) Junior Parkrun in Lydiard Park. Although the author was very familiar with the location, it was his first experience of Junior Parkrun, and he thought it was excellent. With loads of marshalls (44), a very friendly Race Director introduction and a fun warm up for all participants (89) and their parents, it was an event with the emphasis on fun and participation, not racing. Now we're talking about kids, so for some it was a race!

All enjoyed it but were quite cold standing around after finishing, so no after the event photos. However, despite cold fingers, the author did get some photos.
