First Track and Field match for 30 years?

Hi all, just to let you know that on Sunday over 20 of our junior members (both Teens and Juniors) will be competing in the Avon League athletics match at Yate.

This is the first time we, as a Club, have competed in such a match since the mid-90's.

The younger athletes (Under 12s) will be doing a Quadkids competition (75m sprint, 600m run, standing long jump and howler throw) , events they will be familiar with from our training sessions.

The older athletes (Under 14s+) will be competing in a range of events from (in distance) hurdles to 3000m and our U14 girls will be doing a 4x100m relay again. We'll also be competing in the long jump.

This is our "taster" to see if we wish to join the league and participate fully in next year's matches.
