Back on the grass from Tuesday 29th March

All, we will be starting training on the grass playing field at Deer Park school from next Tuesday, 29/3/22, as it's clock change this weekend and it will be lighter in the evenings.

The grass track will not be marked out until Easter but he grass looks to be dry. Start time for the session is 6:30 but we have booked from 6 so come along early to get a really good RAMP warm up in. As we have booked to 8 you also have time for a good cool-down and stretches.

The groups will usually be coached by:

  • Fast Group : Bob or Leigh

  • Middle Group : Alan, Kate or Nick

  • Improvers Group : Clare, Liza or Ruth

Also, we have a new coach, Natasha, who will take some of the sessions, after May.

There's no need to book a place, now that there are no Covid regulations in place; so just turn up and join in the session that suits you, whatever your running goals are this summer.

If you have not trained with the groups before, please fill in the General Health Questionnaire (see Seniors Training page on website for details), so we can ensure you stay safe and healthy.

NB Please do not come if you are unwell, whether Covid or anything else.

Enjoy running off the roads.
