When do I get my number?

 

Number pick-up will be at Chedworth village hall (race HQ) on the day.  On arrival just find your number by queueing up at the relevant letter of your surname.  Numbers MUST be collected before 10am.

Can I exchange my number with another runner or defer it to next year?

Yes, however, all exchanges/deferrals must be completed two days prior to the race.

 

Can I enter on the day?

 

There will be entries available on the day.

 

Where is carparking?

 

The car park is in a field next to the village hall.  Please lift share wherever possible.

 

Is the course marked?

 

Yes, and there will be loads of marshals out on the course to cheer you on.

 

Will I need trail shoes or road shoes?

 

We would recommend trail shoes.  There is a stream crossing halfway through so you may get soggy feet.

 

Is there a cut off time for the race?

 

Yes, maximum finishing time limit 2hrs 30minutes applies to ensure the safety of all participants.

 

Are there water stations?

 

Yes, there will be one water station at the halfway mark.  We encourage all runners to carry their own water bottles if possible to help reduce the environmental impact of paper cups.

 

Am I allowed to run with my dog?

 

No, I'm afraid due to the livestock on route the landowners have forbidden running with dogs.

 

Can I run with headphones?

 

No, due to the fact marshals may wish to instruct you and there are brief sections on the road.
