Success at Berkeley 10k and more

The Coronation weekend bonus Bank Holiday saw the running of the Berkeley 10k, the third race in the county road race series this year and the County 10k Championship race. A small contingent of Cirencester runners consisted of Brian Harris and Ruth Fulford.

Not long since his fabulous London Marathon adventure, Brian clocked his 2nd best ever 10k race result with his 42.24 finish. Whilst he was 4th MV60 overall he took the bronze medal in the county championship.

Ruth Fulford took home the gold medal as 1st FV75 finisher.

In current standings, after three races, Brian and Ruth are in top spots in their age groups as is Kate Sackett. Jo Musk is in third position in the FV40 category.

Well done all.
