GREAT TREW ESTATE RACES

Pam Wheeler

Dear Ian,

I hope you're well.

I'm somewhat excited to let you know that we've decided to launch a half marathon and 10km XC run alongside the obstacle course at The Great Tew Estate on the 18th and 19th May.

Before introducing our epic obstacle events, being a runner myself and Running Coach with England Athletics and Fusion Gyms, I used to organise 10km and half marathon runs, but this all stopped when we began the obstacle courses. However, given we've got such epic venues, and since I love running, we thought we'd just open this up for anyone wanting to simply run in epic estates that are usually closed to the public.  This event, both the half marathon and 10km take place on a stunning route around the idyllic Great Tew Estate on the 18th and 19th May. So no roads, no cars, just breath-taking scenery, cross country style. It is undulating and hilly but is lovely for running.  Even better, this event will finish in the epic Rough Runner ‘Village’ where you can leave any bags in our bag drop, for free, shower afterwards, enjoy great coffee and food from the onsite caterers and watch the obstacle course runners complete the legendary Travelator at the finish, all whilst being entertained by the compere's from Union Jack FM. Given you're locals, we could offer you deal if you like and wanted to join in? Presently we're doing quite a favorable price of £25 and £35 for the 10km and Half Marathon respectively, but we could give your club a discount on these if you like? You could have a stand there if you wanted. Promote your club. Let me know what you think.📷 You can see more here.
