My name is Mica Bale and I’m reaching out from Winston’s Wish – the UK’s first children and young people’s bereavement charity which supports grieving young people both locally and across the UK.
I am reaching out as this year Winston’s Wish will be the official charity partner at the Cheltenham Running Festival held at the Racecourse on the 16th of June 2024. This special running event allows runners to choose 5K, 10K or Half Marathon distances and gain rare access to one of the region’s most prestigious venues.
I wished to share this news and to ask you to consider circulating this information with anybody who may be interested in finding out more or taking part on the 16th of June 2024. Each year Winston’s Wish supports more than 60,000 children and young people when their worlds are turned upside down by grief. The charity is keen to make sure than no child is left to grieve alone. This year we are encouraging people to run at Cheltenham Racecourse on Sunday the 16th of June to raise vital funds to give hope to bereaved young people in Gloucestershire and across the UK.
