Joyce Shines at London Winter 10k

On Sunday Joyce Matthews had a great result in the Cancer Research London Winter Run 10k.

Her very impressive 45.39 finish time meant she was the 142nd overall female finisher of over 7500 women and 9th of 1184 finishers in her FV45 age group.

In parkrun news this week Ruth Fulford ran well at Gloucester North.

Ian Barrett was 4th in a cracking race at Cirencester where just 16 seconds separated the first four finishers. David Moss ran a new best time there. Kate Sackett achieved an 82% age graded time with her 24.18 finish with Rachel Ranger close behind. Gary Wood added parkrun to the middle of his weekend long run.

Wendy Nicholls tried Gloucester City for the first time where she was first lady with a stunning 88% age graded finish time of 19.38.

Rachel McAdam ran a splendid new parkrun PB at Tetbury and Gordon Jones was 1st MV70 at Seven Fields.
