Changes to Teens sessions

Hi all, now we have moved outside and we have more space, we are better able to differentiate with the training for the Teens. This will enable us to better tailor the sessions to the individual children's needs. So we are creating additional groups and reallocating children to the groups. This has been done through Spond, so please note which group your child has been allocated to.

Some principles that we will apply:

  • avoiding specialisation too early

  • ensuring we keep working on the basics that enable performance improvement

  • introducing more performance measurement,

    • so we can determine that our plans are working, and

    • children can better see their own progress

  • we will encoruage children to particiapate in competitive events as this is an important element of development.

NB There will be no changes to start and finish times or venue, unless you are otherwise informed.

We have been training the children recently on Warm-up techniques, so it's fine if they arrive a bit early to warm-up.
